Manufactured circa 1973/74 and first registered in New Zealand in 1976, this vehicle has remained within the same family since new. Originally owned by my grandfather, the late John Taylor, the car was part of a small privately imported Mercedes-Benz fleet from Germany. It was carefully maintained throughout his ownership and later passed to my mother.

Since 2018, the car has been stored in Waihi. Following my mother’s passing last year, it has now come into my care. While I am not a classic car enthusiast myself, I feel strongly that this is a special vehicle that deserves to be preserved and enjoyed by someone who truly appreciates these models.
